About John

John Moody has been writing software professionally since 1994, and as a hobby since his family bought him a Commodore VIC-20 back in the Dark Ages (aka the “early 1980’s”).  He specializes in building Windows software using the Microsoft .Net framework, and builds websites using both ASP.Net and Ruby on Rails. 

Since 2005, John has owned and operated MentalVelocity, a software consultancy based in Mount Vernon, Washington (about an hour north of Seattle). John lives in Mount Vernon with his wife and four kids.
